How does solar work?

On long, sunny days, solar panels pour power past the meter which actually runs backwards, racking up credits on your utility bill. You draw down those credits during the darker, winter months. Solar can zero out your electricity costs, and you shift your monthly payment to your solar system. It’s that simple.

I’m so excited. I thought last month was great only owing $33 to Green Mountain Power, but this month I opened my bill and noticed we don't owe anything! Yeah baby! Thanks SunCommon. We love being part of a solar array. Now we start racking up the credits for next winter. Awesome!
